I went to Davids Bridal just to buy a crinilin to wear under my dress and the lady there was really unfriendly...now I see what everyone says about their customer service- blech!

Re: Davids Bridal
I'm so sorry to hear = ( I know that they are horrible from the experiences I've heard..I wouldn't go to them if they were the last bridal shop on Earth! You can get crinoline skirts anywhere...lots of luck to you!
I would never go there- ever. My friend bought her dress there and paid over $200 for alts and I had to buy her a $10 dress bag! Those cheap @sses couldn't give her one with all the money she spent? Yuck to David's Bridal!

Re: Davids Bridal
yea David's totally depends on who you work with. I worked with a really sweet girl at the store in the Source Mall but she left so I dont really want to go back there.

ive never been to davids bridal so don't know personally but im sure not every single person who works at one is horrible and there are some good ones. Ive seen people complain about upscale places and the service so you never know.

this wouldnt happen to be the davids bridal by the source mall would it...cause there is this blonde lady there that always sits at the door and i want to slice her throat.....if i didnt fall in love with one of the dresses there i would never recommend anyone to go there

Re: Davids Bridal
sorry you had a bad experience with them i just started looking for my dress and i am interested in 1 particular dress they carry so i have an appt next sat at the one in queens, is that the one you went to? i hope not, bc like everything else in life, this could be the case where a couple of bad apples put a bad name out for the bunch, well at least i hope lol!

this is what i was referring to earlier today, so if i only have a 1K-1.5K budget for the dress, i should expect the worst service and a sh*tty dress according to you, right, puhhhlease...

Re: Davids Bridal
ya know every time someone posts something negative about davids.....i have to defend them because i have had great expereinces there. my MOH is getting married a few months after i am and we both bought our dresses there and we will be having our girls get their dresses there too. they were very nice and helpful to both of us. i will say i had one bad experience on a weekday when i went with my mom. the attendant didn`t even care about what we were doing. let me grab my own dresses and dress myself. and for those of you that have been there on a weekend you know thats like illeagl to them, and she just chatted it up with the girl getting dressed next to me i think she was friends with her so that is why we got the cold shoulder. so i`d say that it`s not davids bridal that is the bad place i belive that they just hire young girls that are still in or just out of high school and they don`t care enough to have manners i guess????

I agree with you, whether you pay $500 for your dress or $5,000, it doesn't matter you should still get wonderful customer service. No one should have to settle for poor customer service!

Re: Davids Bridal
I had a really good experience with them..I think like someone else said it all depends on the person your dealing with..we went to Macys and nobody wanted to be bothered helping us so its all about the people who work there not just the store!!

I guess it's hit or miss with who you get there. It was an older woman helping me and I just thought she was kinda snotty....

Re: Davids Bridal
I had a great experience there. I was there from 11 in the morning till about 4 in the afternoon trying on so many dresses & I didn't feel rushed or anything & they were busy. I guess it all depends on who you deal with.
