David's Bridal

Original post by slk1176

Hi ladies, I need your help. I was totally against David's Bridal for bridesmaid dresses because I've heard so many horror stories. Turns out I may have to use them after all and I wanted to know if any of you have used them and how your experiance was???? Thanks ladies

Try the Westbury one, it you go during the week ask for Donna.
She's only there M,W and F from 10-4, but I loved her.....
And if you can go one a Sunday it's better then a Saturday less of a crowd....

Donna is so nice!!! I didn't end up getting my dress there, but she helped me and was sooo sweet!

She is great it's just that she works when I work so I only got to see her a when I did my dress...

I wanted to see her with my girls but we can only get together on the weekend...But the Sunday that we went the girl who helped us was very nice.....

i've been to the one in Westbury for two weddings. i didn't have any problems. i didn't use them for alterations. saw a girl next to my friend have a big issue so i used my own seamstress.

My experience was not great....first off their dresses are ugly to me.....second.....I was trying to not make my BM spend a lot of money and they had those $99 dresses but that is a crock of crap because by the time alterations you spend much more.....so i price matched at another bridal shop and got prittier dresses for the same price

I too visited the one in Yonkers when I was dress shopping and had a GREAT experience. My aunt also bought her dress for one of my cousins weddings there and the staff was really nice. I recommend them.

I ordered my dress and am getting my BM's dresses at David's. I think the service does depend on the store and definately the day of the week you go. But I've had no problems. my dress is in already and one BM dress. Don't know if i'm going to get my alterations done there. The prices were a definate draw for me and then I found dresses that I loved!
