Re: davids bridal
For something that I'm going to wear once, the prices are unbelievable. I got the dress of my dreams for under $600 dollars. The person that helped me, Debra in Westbury, was extremely nice and helpful. Overall, I'm happy with my experience. I was shocked that I bought my dress there but at the same time, I now don't have to eat mac and cheese till we get married.

Re: davids bridal
i went to the one in Westbury last October to 'play' the day after our e-party b/c my 2 close aunts were in town and they wouldn't be able to go with me when the time came to really go shopping. They were great and I tried on a bunch of stuff.
My Bm's are getting their dresses there and they have a great exchange policy if i need it. 2 of my bm's might be pregnant at the time of my wedding so they will exchange the size or style if need be. There would be no extra charge unless the dress price was different.I already have the back up dress picked out and it comes in my colors. I went to Bridal Reflections and was told the girls would have to order completely new dresses if that was the case and the first one was already $195 plus alterations. I didn't want to have to worry about that and I wanted to keep the costs down for my girls. Give it a try..u got nothing to lose.

I also got my dress there-love it!!!--on sale for $700. A bonus there is that I have 2 BM that live upstate, and they could go to another DB to try on their dresses. I got seperates for the BM, the skirts are all the same but they all have different tops in the same color, as they all have different body types this way they all have something that looks good on them. Also if you buy your dress there you get $ off your BM dresses, shoes invitations, etc., I even got a coupon for a ring bearer tux from Men's Wearhouse for $50

Re: davids bridal
My sister and I both got our gowns there and we both LOVED them. I did get my alterations done elsewhere because we found them unpleasant and they always had forgotten to do something on my sister's dress.
The dress was a halter but I had them turn it into regular straps and it became my dream dress. They're also big fat copiers so if you find something you love but that's too expensive, see if they have something similar there.
Service is hit or miss but we went to the one in Lake Grove and worked with Sandy. She also helped us with my mom's MOB dress and we love her. She was so helpful.
