Davids Bridal Repost from BHB

SO, tonight I went to pick up my gown. I get it and it has stains on it, is falling apart and is missing the closure. I was under the impression that I had ordered a NEW dress. Turns out that their policy is that if your dress isn't in the warehouse they call around to stores and ship you a sample dress. They completely misrepresented that fact to me and made me believe that I had a new dress in my hand. While I was in the store there were at least 4 other brides who were having issues. They have reordered my dress and I am really hoping that I will get the new dress that I ordered and paid for! I will be bringing my dress somewhere else for alterations and am no longer planning on ordering bridesmaid dresses at this store!!!

TIP: For my new dress I requested that they not unpack it so I can be sure that I am getting a new dress that will not be stained.

What kind of policy is that? And for the price of a new one?

So sorry you had to go throught that. I would have flipped out! Hopefully, you will get your 'new' dress soon.

I am not sure where you live but I got my dress and the BM dresses from Bayshore Bridal Suite and they have been great to deal with. I am in a BP in two weeks and we also got our dresses there and so far I have been happy with the service.
Maybe you can look there for the BM dresses.
