It is totally not necessary!
If you want to have a little get together maybe you can do something at your house or at your parent's house.

How soon are you leaving for your HM?

Definately don't have to do it. We are only doing because we have a lot of OOT guests so we wanted to be able to see people in the morning before they left. Plus FH's parents offered to pay for it so we couldn't say no.

The day after brunch will end up costing you close to 20 per head. Whats the point if the hotel offers continental breakfast?

We are not doing it, I leave for HM at 12pm so there's no time!!!

We are doing the brunch, since we won''t be doing the rehearsal dinner. We leave for our honeymoon the day after, but the flight is in the evening so we plan to go to brunch, maybe even with luggage and leave from there with one of my bridesmaids and her FH. (They happen to have booked a flight for their trip around the same time, so we get to ride to the airport together) :)

We were planning on a day after brunch at our house but our house was just ready to host an event like that yet.

So at the last minute we decided to have it at a restaurant in bayville, which is kinda far from the OOT hotel and our house. We had about 45 people come.
The food was great, i was like a zombie lol but it was alot fun, all my friends came and we just had a great time

We are going to one, but it'll be where everyone pays. Because our hotels wanted $10 for juice, coffee and muffins - that's it. But I want to see the OOT guests, so we're going to do something at a restaurant.

My parents will be having a lunch on the Sunday after the wedding (getting married on Friday). It will be at their house, probably just throw some food on the bbq They just wanted to do something low key for everyone to gather and look at pics and whatnot. They didn't want to do it the day after the wedding b/c they figured we'll all just want to rest.

It's not necessary. What you're planning sounds very nice!

I don't think it is necessary. my mom was going to pay for one for the people who stayed at the hotel. But the hotel offers continental breakfast and also i know my guests they are going to be hung over and tired not wanting to wake up early

plus 4 days later is christmas eve and for the last 20 yrs we have had a HUGE christmas eve party at my house so my parents don't need to deal with paying for a brunch and well a good amount of my guests will be at the christmas eve party

so i don't want us to get sick of people haha

It's not necessary. FH and I are doing one at the hotel where we and our OOT guests are staying bec. we have a lot of OOT guests who are traveling from out of state to come to our wedding.

we're doing a lunch the day before so we're not doing a brunch the day after. We just can't afford it plus we need to get home so we can pack for our honeymoon

The only reason we are doing it is because we have a lot of family that we haven't seen in a while that are traveling from all over and we want to spend time with them.
