Sometimes bride/grooms will take photos after their weddings, like the day after, if it rains or even further after if they are unhappy with how their original photos came out.

Some girls aren't happy with the pics taken the actual day of their wedding so they opt to do this for a 2nd chance.

They get all dressed up again and take more pics with their DH to capture anything that might've been missed before.

Oh Ok thanks...do brides usually do it with a different photog or the same photog....my photog includes that in her package....if it rains we can get all dressed up again and she will take pics.

I did this. After your wedding (not necessarily the DAY after, but sometime after) you get dressed up again, get your hair and makeup done again and take more pictures. There’s a lot of reasons brides do this, maybe location wise you wanted to take pics in NYC but it was too far or maybe it rained on your wedding day and you wanted to take pics outside, or in my case I didn’t like my proofs so I did them over! If you loved your photog you could do them over with that one if you were doing them over because of location conflict or rain... but I hated my photog so I used a different one.

So this was my 'regular photographer' - many proofs were blurry or the color was off... and he wasn't creative AT ALL - my pics were BORING!
