It's hard to tell because the weather has been so funky lately. I would think it may be a little too warm to wear in May but if the place where you and your BMs are getting ready at is air conditioned, it would be perfect.

Unless you are getting ready outside in may then I don't see them being too warm.

reason I ask if one of my sister-in-law's culture & religion doesn't allow her to show her shoulders so i need to find something that covers the shoulders. I don't want to do just t-shirts because they may not be easy to get over the head after getting hair and makeup done and I am not sure how I feel about the robes or the oversized button up shirts??

I think oversized button downs are the way to go. That way the girls can roll up the sleeves if they get hot and they'll still look super cute.
