Day of makeup and Photog What time should I schedule them to come?

Hello :)

My hair/makeup and photog have reached out to me to confirm final details for day of. They would like to know what time they should arrive.

I have no idea what to tell them, eek.

Ceremony is at 3:30pm
Church is maybe 20min drive away.
It is just myself and my MOH doing hair and makeup (that is my bridal party of 1 lol)
While I get hair she gets makeup and vice versa.

I would like photog to get some getting ready pics, but I don't necessarily need the hair and makeup process, more concerned with the getting me in the dress part.

Any Ideas?

I would ask the hair & makeup what they suggest, but I would venture to say start by 11:30 to play it safe

I have a similar timeline to yours. Church is at 3, not doing a first look
8:00 AM hair and makeup starts (Bride, 4 BMs, my mom.. If you have less or more people, your stylists will change the time to meet their needs)
1:30 photographer arrival
2:50 leave for church (I live around the corner so you may wanna push your times up some if you have to travel further for the church)
3-4 full mass
4-4:30 recieving line, photos at church
5-7 photos at venue
7 cocktail hour starts

THEY should be telling YOU when they should arrive lol. They're the professionals who do it all the time! But hair and makeup said an average of 1hr per person

It also depends on how long you've booked your photographer for. But my photog go to the house about 45 min before all hair/makeup was done. He was setting up my dress and jewelry and things like that and taking candid pics of everyone at the house. I was pretty much done with hair and makeup and took some beauty/action shots of the makeup artist applying makeup (but really, it was all done...just posing with the brush close to my lips or eyes). Then he took pics of me getting into my dress.

It is really up to your photog, so check with him/her.

I had a big bridal party but i had similar times. I had hair/make up at the hotel I was staying at, at 8am. the photographer arrived with noon and took pictures of everyone getting dressed/finishing up. There were 10 of us ladies.... I would suggest 11 or 1130am This way you aren't rushing. Good luck and have an amazing day.
