Day of Shoes- With PIX & POLL! ~***UPDATE***~

Morning ladies! Someone posted about her shoes and it got me thinking ALOT about MY shoes

I need major help here- My shoes are $240 online, will probably end up being $300 after shipping charges. [I havent seen them at any store yet]

Anyway- Me and FH are paying for most of the wedding ourselves, and just bought a house. So we're WAY in over our heads financially. Can I justify actually spending this much on shoes???

These are the shoes:

And this is my dress:

I dont know if you can tell, but the shoes match the sash on my dress perfectly!

Thanks to iamvocal72, shopaholic07 & HamptonsBride- I was able to find similar shoes that were much less, AND found these exact ones for $219 with FREE SHIPPING from Zappos.com...

So does the jump from potentially $300 to $219 sway any decisions?

I say GET THEM!!! I have a 'you only get married once' approach to my wedding........I was just looking at shoes that cost $950!!!!!!!



Well, I say get them! Why not it's your wedding and they go perfectly w/ur dress and besides I'm sure you can still put them to some use.

Althoguh i think everything is beautiful i dont think that the shoes are worth 300 bucks.
Chances are u will not wear them with a pair of jean they are too dressy ( being white satin and all). So to wear them one time.. it s a little steep for me. I spent 60 on mine and im gettng them dyed after the wedding so that i can wear them again.
Anyhoo.. that just my opinion.. I know u can find something similar for much less

This is exactly what I was thinking!!! They match nice. Maybe there will be a sale.

I came really close to buying the same exact shoes!!!! I actually wound up with another pair of $250 shoes and I plan to dye them black later and wear them to other weddings we are going to. I say go for it. All of the things you are spending money on (except possibly the photog) are for one day, and cost way more than the shoes! If they are comfy and you love them, do it! I think I remember seeing them on Zappos at some point and they have free shipping.

They are beautiful!! However make sure they are comfortable! I loved a sling back shoe I saw, but the back of it kept falling off.

Order them and see if you still love them.

I wouldn't spend that much on shoes - you don't really see that much of them with your gown on.

while the shoes are really pretty.... I think you can find something very similar for a lot less! Have you checked our zappos.com.... they've got a ton of stuff on there!

Wow they are really nice shoes but that is just way to much. But it all depends maybe you can save in something else so you can get the shoes.

We're dress twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the one I'm almost positive about purchasing, love the shoes, but I think I am getting open toes...

OMG YAY! I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE A TWIN!!!! IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YOU FOR SO LOOOONG

I actually am having this dress made by my aunt who's like my 2nd mom... so its not that EXACT dress. I chose a different lace [actually is Badgley Mischka lace] but it has similar beading [pearls, sequins & crystals]

But when i tried it on at the store I fell in LOOOOVE with it! The lace is absolutely amazing and it just looked so classic on!! CONGRATS I hope u do end up with it and SEND ME PIX!!!!!

I like the shoes alot but I think they are a little over priced for Anne Klein.

nonono doesnt sway mine... that is WAY too much to spend on shoes that you will only wear once...

Most dresses are so long people dont notice the shoes.. and even if it isnt long, people aren't looking at your feet.

There are MUCh better ways to spend $219. I beg you, find cheaper shoes!

If you really really love them......get them. In the whole scheme of things its only going to cost about 1% of your wedding cost.

I would def. get them from zappos. They have a great return policy if you find something you like better.
