day time weddings..

Just curious if any of you are having day time weddings? What are you doing afterwards? I have always been anti daytime wedding for the simple fact I want to party all night for my wedding, FH thinks its a great idea and wants to do then have an awesome after party. Does anyone have ideas on what to do after the wedding is over in the Ronkonkoma area??

day time weddings..

My wedding is from 1-8:30
We have a hotel block after and FH keeps talking about partying. Umm I will be up At 8 for hair/make up....it will be a long day... I highly doubt I will be up at the hotel. They can party without me. Haha

day time weddings..

I just went to a wedding at Woodbury country club and the bride/groom had an afterparty after their recept. ended at 11:30. I didn't stay for it as it was on a Sunday night and had work the next day. That's one thing I didn't like. Would have been a lot better if it was done on a Friday or Saturday.

We are having a daytime Sunday wedding. We figure we will hang out at the tavern after the reception. We are staying there overnight so no rush for us.

Mine ends at 5:30. I figured I would take a long nap then reconvene with everyone in the city.

We are having a daytime wedding...its more affordable and Flowerfield (I feel) is gorgeous during the day!

Depending where we block our hotel room, we are probably going to have an after-party in the hotel...usually there is a bar

Re: day time weddings..

My reception ends at 5.30, so we'll just hang out at the hotel bar with guests afterwards. We won't be partying all night because our flight for our honeymoon leaves at 8am the next day, which means we have to be up at 3am and ready to leave for the airport at 4. I'm exhausted thinking about it.

day time weddings..

The best wedding I've been to was a daytime wedding at Giorgios. It was a blast. We stayed at a hotel afterwards with friends and family and the bride and groom. We snacked on stuff in the bar area and had a few drinks, but everyone was really exhausted. We went to sleep pretty early, but it was still a great day.
