Day Wedding brides help!

I may have posted this before but I am very stressed!

We chose a day wedding to save money and also because Giorgios has beautiful backdrop we all wanted to view during the day...

I have ten bridesmaids and am stressing over time.
I planned it out thinking all of us will have to get up at 5am for hair and makeup. I will have to be ready before my girls because I am meeting FH for the 'first look' about a 15 minute ride from the hotel.
Then we only have about 1.5h for photos and am having the bridal party come join us for maybe 45 min of more photos. Then up the road to Giorgios to be married!
I am trying to avoid being pulled out of cocktail hour as much as possible.

Can some day wedding brides please offer ANY advice on how this could pan out ?? Any recommendations? I feel so rushed!!

Have you discussed this timeline with your photographer? That seems like a lot of time for pictures. I'm also going to be having a day wedding with a first look (no one wants to miss cocktail hour!)

I have not yet! He tells me we will go over everything about a month before. I just want to get a feel from other brides and their thoughts. I feel bad making everyone wake up so early but I have no choice!

Re: Day Wedding brides help!

I'd say email and ask. Because you also have to make arrangements with hair and makeup and have to let them know what time as well.

Definitely contact your photographer. I asked my MUA about this, and she said that it all depends on your photographer. Based on what time the photographer gets to wherever you are getting ready, the MUA will tell you what time she is starting.

We did a first look at 1pm, and we started Hair & MU @ 5am! And I only had 5 girls (including myself).

Def email or call your photographer and say you want to I over the timeline. Also, you may want to look into a salon or place where you can have multiple people get their hair and/or makeup done at the same time. If that's not possible, see if your hairstylist and make up artist have assistants. I was 2 PM pictures with 5 bridesmaids, mom, and aunt and we had to start at 7 AM. They worked their butts off but we got done on time.
