Ok ladies, so now that JoRo is back from her honeymoon, I think it's time for another GTG. How about doing something this month? And I know that a lot of us work in DC or Maryland, so maybe we could plan another after-work dinner GTG?
Any suggestions? Thoughts?

Hey - I'm not a DC bride (at least not yet)....but FH and I have decided that we are moving to DC by the end of the summer (if not before!), so just thought I'd pop in and say hi to all the DC gals!!

Wow! I didn't know that there were any other girls on here from DC/MD. I'm in MD..so far it has been kind of hard planning from here. I'm glad to see I'm not alone.

Hey whatever to our last retreat.
I am all for it.
Maybe we should exchange emails so that we can keep in touch when the post is not at the top.

Alison- congratulations on your new house! You must be so excited. Have you moved in yet?
Dgtlsunshine - good idea about e-mail. If you all want to FM me with your e-mail address, I'll send an e-mail out to you all so we can start planning our GTG. Ok?
I'll just keep bumping this post until I get a good amount of responses.... there are a bunch of us DC brides!

i'm up for a gtg - only thing is that for me it has to be on a weekend (at least until august when i finally move back to the area permanenty (as opposed to just weekend trips) ..... until then, i am too far away in southeastern VA.)

Ok Sandy. We'll see if we can work something out for a weekend. If not, we're sure to have more GTGs.

Hey girls!! Just found this thread and count me in! Annie, you have my email right? If at all possible, we should try to do something before May 31, which is when Jenny moves back to NY, but I'm sure it won't be easy to find a weekend. I'm around next weekend and could do something on Saturday (5/10), then I'm in NY the weekend of 5/17 for my shower. But we'll be around Memorial Day weekend...will others be here in DC or traveling? If enough of us are around, maybe we could do something then??
Anyway keep me posted! We still need to see your ring and congratulate Jo on becoming a Mrs. (and hopefully seeing some more of her pix!). And it looks like we've got some new local gals to welcome to the group...Yay!

Yup, I have your e-mail address Alison. I hope the other DC girls see this thread soon so we can nail down a date before Jenny moves!
Next weekend works for me too. I'll have to see what a good meeting point for everyone would be. Or like I said earlier, maybe an after-work dinner in D.C. might be good.
Anyone?

Re: DC brides - please read
Ok, I'm replying again because I'm totally killing time today. Boss is out and my sinuses are a mess (allergies...ugh!) and I just don't feel like doing work!
Anyway, I'm up for anything but I am a moron and realized that next Saturday I couldn't actually do anything until after 3:30 or 4 pm, as I am booked with hair appointments, manicure, facial, etc, until then. But I'd be up for a late afternoon/early evening outing...if we could get responses from people soon we might even be able to try for tea at Pentagon City Ritz Carlton again...? Of course, they may already be booked solid. You could always call and see if it's an option I guess.
If we go for a weeknight, here are some dates I am available:
Wed 5/14 Fri 5/23 Mon 5/26 Tue 5/27 Thurs 6/5
Unfortunately, all other weeknights between now and early June are booked with softball games, dance lessons, pilates classes, and wedding-related stuff...it's amazing how, even though my classes have ended, I STILL have no free time!!

Hello DC area brides. Congrats to MRS JoRo!
I would love to get together if we can plan a weekend gtg, becuase I work and live in Baltimore and the travel down towards DC in rush hour is murderous!
I have AlisonMT's email and I think, Alison that you still have mine, right?

I think I have it at home but you might want to FM it to Annie as well since she is the one coordinating this time...
