This is so hard to pick a place! We are going in Dec for 2 weeks - looking for great weather (warm!) on a beach. Thinking Tahiti, Fiji, Hawaii, Phuket Island in Thailand. Has anyone been to these places in Dec?

I haven't, but what about New Zealand and Austrailia - its the best time to go there (summer) and if you have two weeks...you could also stop at the Cook Islands on your way for a tropical island adventure beforehand.
BTW, we were looking into taking a trip to Thailand and I would warn you that it is not the safest place for Americans right now.

I have never been to any of those places you mentioned, but I have been to Costa Rica during Dec for 3 wks and it was HOT - summer weather there. I am having my HM in Dec as well, we are thinking of Aruba or the islands...it is always warm down there and hurricane season is far gone. Best place to get info on this is a travel agent. Good luck

We almost decided on the Phi Phi Island in Thailand...IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL THERE!!!!!!!!!
2 weeks isn't alot though to travel all the way to Thailand..but I am sure you could do it.....
My vote is for Thailand with Fiji running in a close 2nd

My fiance was a little skeptical about going to Thailand right now. I didn't think it mattered. He wants to go to Hawaii but the average temp in Dec is 78 - I think that might be too cold to lay out on the beaches. So confused!
