December brides...

Is a holiday theme cheesy?

it depends on how cheesy you want to make it. i did a classy christmas theme.... so my BM dresses were hunter green with silver accents...and my flowers/invites were red and green but i thought it was very nice! people raved since the milleridge is VERY festive so i just went with it. check out my album.

we also gave out ornaments as favors, which everyone LOVED.

I love the holiday theme! My vote was for a holiday wedding but the FH wone with spring. I think the pointsettas every where with the lights are so pretty! As long as you dont go overboard ofcourse.

I dont think so!! The Inn at New Hyde Park does their RH beautifully around the holidays!!! Kind of makes me want to have it around that time instead

my brother got married in December. they had red dresses for the bridesmaids, ornaments as their favor, and red flowers. The Watermill was decorated for xmas too so we took pics with the tree and stuff too.

Not too much THEMED but very classy!

Holiday theme is definitely not cheesy. You can also do a winter theme which is also beautiful.

I think it can be romantic! Ive seen people who have pictures by a christmas tree, and its just so pretty!

My cousin did a Christmas Themed wedding! We all wore red BM dresses- she had a beautiful tree set up in the room and everyone picked an ornament as their favor (she had bags made up with their name/date for the ornaments to be brought home in). It was very nice!!

I love Christmas themed weddings however I am getting married in Feb and think Valentines day themed weddings are so cheesy so I am having a winter wonderland wedding Jade are the colors of the dresses and and the invites will have snow flake favors and what not.

I do not feel a holiday theme is 'cheesy' at all. We are having our wedding on December 28th. We will be incorporating the holiday's especially since the church and reception hall will already be decorated, which is saving us $$$.
Themes are great but like anything else should be done in moderation.
