Definetely get a proof of invitation.....Rexcraft
We are ordering our invitations from Rexcraft, and I really did not think that we needed to get a proof of the invitation, because the operator had spelled everything over and over again to me over the phone! WELL, I`M SO GLAD THAT I DID!! They misplaced the word MANSION wrong! I thought that they would maybe mispell my name or last name but I never thought that they would mispell such a common word!! Anyway, just wanted to suggest to everyone to get a proof of the invitation before ordering! Rexcraft has been great about everything!

When I ordered from Wedding Traditions (which I think is a sister company since they share the same fax number) I typed up everything on the computer and faxed that over, rather than ordering by phone, so everything was in print just the way I wanted it. That worked well for me - everything came in perfectly.

I ordered my invites from Rexcraft and did it online. I just ordered on Monday so I am waiting for them to come in. I printed everything to keep as my copy so there would be no questions about what I submitted. I did it online so I would know that all the info was correct. As a call center supervisor I know how easy it is for telephone reps to make mistakes. The fax idea is a great one too.

Not Rexcraft but a horror anyway
My sister did not get a proof of her invitations and when she got them they were the wrong color so she had to send them all back. When they went to reprint them they called her and told her they were out of stock on the ones she wanted so she had to choose something else. They were pretty good about it but she didn`t get them until 3 weeks before they were supposed to go out.

Now-And-Forever.com...EXCELLENT (long)
I have to say something good after all those horror stories. I ordered my invitations on-line. The order process was so easy and you type in everything so you can proof what is actually put into the computer. They even offer wording choices to choose from and it shows up with your information (very cool). Ooh, and the best thing was I wasn`t sure what font to pick but with doing it on line, they show you what it looks like right there! I didn`t get a proof, I figured I didn`t need one... however, 5 minutes after I was done ordering I was sitting home alone freaking out thinking I should have. But the invitations came in exactly 7 business days and they`re perfect!! They even fixed an error I made. And for those of you who don`t like online ordering, you can call and get a person. I sound like an advertisement, I know, but I am so happy with the way they came out. I can`t stop looking at them.

My e-mail wasn`t intended as a horror story!:-) LONG
I just wanted to clarify that my message about Rexcraft was not intended as a horror story--they were great to deal with on the phone and they called me back promptly to see how things turned out. I had to order mine over the phone because I am ordering two sets of response cards with two different dates on them--that can`t be done on the internet. Rexcraft was very helpful and I had done a proof on their internet site and saw exactly what the font and wording would look like, but I still wanted to see how things would look from their end.... I am supposed to get the invitations within the next week--and I will report back if things do not come out ok, but so far I really like their service. I am glad that other people had good experiences with them and/or with the vendor of their choice.Welcome New Vendors
