Thanks...I know it's important to be honest. I resized the pics and they are STILL huge....how do I make them smaller? lol

wow - detailed review... I'll be sure to pass on info to my friend who's gettin married there next month...

I'm surprised about the dinner service bit - the way they serve dinner is usually their biggest PLUS!

Thanks...I know it's important to be honest. I resized the pics and they are STILL huge....how do I make them smaller? lol

I am not sure. Can you resize them even smaller. You can still see how everything was.

Upload all the pics into your album and then once they're in there:

Edit your post, delete all the images.

Open a new internet window and go into your album where you uploaded the pics.

Right click on each picture, copy the web address from 'Properties' and insert it as a 'Web Image' in the other window (where you have your topic open)...

a friend of mine got married there in 2000
i did go there to look, but after waiting for a BM for over a half hour, not being offered so much as a glass of water, and my mother getting 'yelled' at by the receptionist when she opened the door to a room just to peek (there were NO events going on, it was a sunday in February) we decided to leave

upon leaving, a BM literally chased us out of the building asking us why we were leaving and then got annoyed at US

Wow, thank you for your honesty! I am getting married there next year, and the food I had at the tasting was amazing! They said that we would have 35 passed appetizers during cocktail hour, and a choice of 7 entrees.

I'm kinda shocked by your review. I was at a wedding there about a year ago and it was great. No problem getting drinks, no issues with service. People were eating second and third helpings of the entrees! I hope your friend had a great time reguardless of the things you noticed!
And it's great that you could be so honest about everything so future brides know some things to look out for!

Great to get first hand knowledge of an event - But I hope your friend doesn't read these boards!

It might hurt her feelings to see how little you thought of her wedding.

I was told the same thing as well. I think they changed what they offered in the last year so maybe when she booked the 'menu' was different. At least I hope thats the case as well since my wedding is there in March.

From what I was told, they do one wedding at a time but not necessarily one event at a time. I know there's something going on after my wedding.

It goes to show you that not everyone has a positive experience at places, Almost everything i've seen has been positve about TC. Someone is bound to have something different to say every once in while. Thanks for the honesty though.
