I hear ya man - everyone is busy but some times you just gotta do your best and stick to your word.
You did the right thing by picking the people who you know will be there when it matters most. My MOH lives in Buffalo - but I know she would go to the end of the earth for me.

thanks, and it's true. I think because they are local, they have the mentality that 'there's always next time.' But now that I live in jersey, i can't just spontaneously meet up for brunch or dinner like they do sometimes, I need to plan ahead. ![]()

Well I'm glad you found out how flaky they reall are now, and didn't find out later when they were causing drama and actually in the BP! Thank goodness you have other friends there to support you and who will be there for you!!

I'm sorry. That is really annoyinh, but like others said, you see yours 'friends' true colors after a while. This is why I hardly talk to any of mine from HS and college. People become so wrapped up in their own lives and don't know how to make time for others.

As we age people's true colors really come out and you learn who's there for you. I know you had to vent but now just laugh and smile to yourself knowing you made the right choices when deciding whom is best to share in your special day and stand beside you :)
