Does anyone know how long(approx.)they take to order? My wedding is alittle over a year away but I'd like to lose some pounds before trying any on. I've heard some of you ladies say it took 8 months for your gowns to come in. Worried about the time.

I just tried on a Demetrios this weekend, I fell in love with it!!! It just wasent in my budget but I think I am going to make it in my budget!
Im not sure how long it takes though..

I ordered mine valentine's weekend 2004 the dress came in oct 15th. The Salon told me it would take 8 months and it did.

That's the way I feel. I know it's not what I was looking to spend but I might save for it anyway Im just afraid I wont have enough time to order it before losing some weight.

I ordered my Demetrios gown in January and it came in the middle of July. It took about 7 months. I ordered my dress at Lillette's in Baldwin. The dress in my picture was the dress I had. My dress cost $900. Lillettes has several Demetrios dresses. They were wonderful. The store that carries all their dresses though is Macy's Bridal Salon in Manhasset.

I ordered my Demetrios Gown in mid-August of 2003 it was in by early November of 2003. It sat around at the bridal store (Macy’s Manhasset) until my first fitting!

I have heard from numerous places they take about 6-8 months depending on the dress.

Macy's in Smithhaven mall.They were wonderful to me. Actually it was the 1st dress I tried on that the woman suggested!

I think some salons take advantage of the time you have until the wedding. Some will order the dress right away and others may wait until some more time passes before placing the order - particularly if you give them a long lead time. I don't think they like to have excess dresses hanging around the store in storage, but that is just based on my experience.
Many brides have less than 8 months and they are able to get their dresses in.

There are few I'd like to try on but these two are my favorite so far: styles #1197 & 9599 Im trying to get the pics uploaded Im in the process of trying to resize them...brb with them

Style 2705 it was the first dress I tried on and I loved it! Its brand new.
Well I tried. This is the best it would come out don't ask me what happened but I hope you can get an idea.

Those gowns are gogreous. I alwyas OVE demetrios gowns. How much are they, and what other desngers are they comparable to in quality?

Im really not sure on the prices but I've heard they are on the expensive side. Im going to go to burtons though and see if they have it discounted at all. I wish the pics were better quality. Im also not sure who you could compare them too as far as quality.
