How much money did you photographer require you to put down when you booked? I just want to make sure FH put enough money in the account I've been using!

Our was 10% - Just make sure you get a receipt and that they write paid / remaining balance in the contract. Another pointer (suggestion) to ensure quality control and sanity of mind (if your photographer allows) provide payment for 15-20% of the total upon receipt of your proofs.

We gave $300.00 and our package is around $3,000.00 so it's about 10 percent.

we gave $800 but it was for photo and video. it came out to about 15%

we had to put down 10% but then another 10% was due a month later. Our next payment of 40% is not due until September and then the final balance is due a week before the wedding.

we had to put $1K down and then we had to put down another majority before the wedding and then the final balance once we get our proofs
