OK so I am on my quest to fine a gown. My budget is rather low since we moved the wedding up.
Can anyone tell me other then Davids where can I find a gown for under $400?
I am not looking for anything over the top. I am looking more for simply elegance.

You can see if some stores will sell you the sample gown- it may save you some $$ but depending on the designer.
Not sure for under $400 but I know for sure David's is an option.

find a dress in a store, try it on (impt to try it on). then get a quote from pearlsplace.com. their dresses are so much less than everyone else. I ordered from them

Why not look for a white dress off the rack from a store like Macy's or Lord and Taylor? Or try Bluefly!

There's also someone on BHB boards selling a gown for about $500- never worn either.

Most of their dresses are more than $400 too.
I would try ebay / craigslist / david's . . . or just try looking for a white dress somewhere else.
you can check out RK Bridal, I thin the designer Mori Lee is really inexpensive

Check out Alfred Angelo . They have a large selection of gowns that are very affordable and many bridal salons carry their line. I know you're looking to spend about $400.... their website has a key for price, and 1 'wedding bell' means 'under $599.'

unfortunately the 2 girls on here that are selling there dress' are not my size. They are smaller then me. I think both their gowns are beautiful.
Thank you for pointing me to Alfred Angelo. I found 3 dress' that I like and will call to get a price.
