When me and FH first started talking about getting married we said we wanted a semi-small wedding on teh beach somewhere, possible florida. Then we realized that my grandmother could not come. So we decided that we would have a wedding here in New York. However, I have now decided that it is my wedding and I want to do what I want. One thing I know is that I do not want to go indebt over this wedding. I really want a house more then anything and this wedding will not let me get one for a little while yet. I am just so confused right now.......
Anybody else ever feel like this....

Fh and I really wanted a dest wedd in Greece but after some thought decided not to bec it wouldnt be fair for my guests. I would feel so bad if they wouldnt make it all the way there.

i wanted a destination wedding as well. but i know for a fact that some of my relatives have a fear of flying and i really want those people there so that idea was squashed pretty quick

I thought about it because I think it would be so cool to have on the beach on an island, but the reality is that it would cost us practically the same and we wouldn't have everyone we wanted there to be with us. Besides, FH hates the beach lol

my wedding is in NY and its a destinatoin wedding..although i grew up there and half my family is there ..i do not live on LI anymore so it is destionation for me..and entire family of FH since he is from the midwest..i didnt care..its our day wand were doing it

Actually when you think about it , it will end up being a destination wedding. I think we are moving to North carolina this summer.
