Does your DH want your baby to be named after him if it is a boy? and, how do you ladies feel about this?
I am not having kids for a while, but DH and I were talking yesterday and I found out that he wants our son (if we have one) to be named after him. I am ok with it, and luckily I like his name. LOL
Just curious what all the other hubbies are saying...

Hubby didnt want our baby named after him if it were a boy. He does want him to take his middle name. If it is a girl..she will have my middle name

Scott's poor nephew is Herbert III! Why? Because the boy's non-existent father had an ego problem and insisted that HIS son carry on the name. It is awful to name your child something just because...if you like the name it is one thing but to force a child to carry Herbert is unfair IMO.

If we have a boy, my DH wants the baby to be a Jr. I am so against it -- I love the man, but I don't love the name. We will be doing the naming game soon, and I am dreading it.

I know I don't belong here, I was bored at work...FH doesn't want a son to be the third after him (FI is a JR) but wants to use his middle name of Frederic for his grandpa and I want to use Paul for my grandpa.....in either position the two sound nice together!
