The diamond district is fabulous. They ask you how much you want to spend and some how, the ecact ring you want comes out to that price. Tell him to shoot low and he may be able to get a great deal. Just watch out for the guys that try to drag you into the stores. Also......make sure the diamond is certified.

My FH got my ring in the diamond district. The company does a lot of online retailing and also has a wholesale store. He heard of them from his brother who researches everything.

BTW don't go by the prices on the web...it's not the same as the store and they are quoted with F color.

Thank you all so much for your help. I've never bought this way. What price do you think I should tell him to say first..if looking to shoot low?
