What color shoes do we get? Regular white? DO they sell Diamond white shoes?

I got basic white. I'm not going to sweat it. I think basic white would be closer in color than off-white which tends to be more beige.

The place where I bought my dress said to get 'diamond white' 'satin white' or 'silk white'.

i got basic white..it looked fine. No one really sees much of your shoes under your dress anyhow.

I had regular white too, and what a couple other brides said, you can't tell at all that your shoes are brighter than the dress. My shoes came off anyways :)

You can get dyeables and have them dyed to match the exact color of your dress. That's what I would do.

You can get dyeables and have them dyed to match the exact color of your dress. That's what I would do.

That's what I did. When you put a stark white shoe next to a diamond white dress, you can definitely tell the difference. Even though most likely my shoes wont be seen that much, it would still bother me if it didn't match perfectly.

Me too- mine shoes are silk white and they match the dress just fine

I bought shoes by Grace- they have a silk white color

My dress is diamond white too. I guess basic white would be ok since your feet are coverd by your dress all the time.

AND that place will dye them black for you for free after the wedding !!

another question--I went along with fh while he tried on tuxes and the salesperson asked me what color my dress was. I said diamond white and he didnt know what color that was. He said if that if I have an off white gown then the groom and party need to be in offwhite tux shirts. So do you think Diamond White is off white ?

I think that is only a problem when the dress is ivory. My friend wore diamond white and her DH wore regular white shirt- I couldn't tell. I also thought her dress was white- it was very subtle.

i bought white shoes...and they did look different from the dress....but the place where i bought them dyed them for free when i brought a piece of material from the dress
