Is diamond white similar to off white/ivory?

I would get ivory shoes... I remember reading somewhere (not wedding related) that if anything, shoes should be darker, not lighter than the rest of your outfit... Also, dirt would be less likely to show on ivory than white.

Except the Dyeables brand (and ones like it), most of the 'wedding' shoe designers out there (Camparros, Fenaroli, Kenneth Cole) make a white that is not perfectly white and would probably work pretty nicely with a Diamond White Dress.
Even if it doesnt match exactly, your dress will cast a shadow on to your shoes making them look a shade or two darker anyway...so you will barely be able to tell the difference once they are on.

My dress is diamond white. I got white shoes from Casa de Mario's in Patchoque. I gave them a sample piece of fabric from my dress and they matched my shoes perfectly. I wouldn't get ivory because that will be too dark and white does not go either. I would have them dyed if I were you.

my dress was organza & also called 'diamond white'. I bought shoes from Sandy's in the luxe fabric ... didn't need dying at all, but they said that if you needed it, they would. Besides putting them on, no one ever really saw my shoes, so I wasn't really worried about matching exactly.
my dress was diamond white & I thought i would need to dye my shoes, but actually the swatch worked out to match. I was worried about my shoes looking bright in pics so they matted the satin fabric. it looked perfect.
