Did any of you or will any of you be...

...wearing your veils throughout the reception? I plan on getting a very simple veil and FH wanted me to wear it during the reception. I was fine with that until my MOH said that she thought it was a lil over the top to do that. Can you please let me know what you did or will do?

i took mine off after the first dance. I say do whatever you like best and makes you happy

for me the veil started to get on my nerves so i couldnt wait to take it off first it was the cathedral that drove me absolutely insane and took that off as soon as we were done with pics, and then i had just the elbow length but i was fed up at this point with veils

I loved my veil...I wore it the entire time until the bitter end.

I think I'll wear mine throughout the reception, that's how I picture it, but I'm sure if it starts to get annoying the day of, I'll take it off

I plan to wear my veil through out the reception. My veil is only one thin layer and it has very delicate silver embroidery on the edge. I do not think it is over the top.

I fully intend to wear my for the whole reception. I was at a wedding sat and the bride wore her's the whole time. I don't think its over the top at all - you are the BRIDE!

THANK YOU! I gotta vent and say that I was getting so frustrated! I love the honest opinions but the way my MOH was saying this made me feel like I'm an idiot! I want to wear it throughout the reception and of course if it starts to bother me I'll take it off. Thank you girls again for making me feel a little better

I wore mine the whole time-I just didnt want to take it off and it didnt bother me so it stayed

I'm prolly taking it off.. I'm purposly getting my hair done so I CAN take it off. Of corse, things can change, since I never even put one on yet...but still....

I wore a cathedral length veil for the ceremony and pictures and changed to a shorter veil for the reception. I kept it on all night!

I took mine off after dinner, and honestly now i see pictures and WISH i would've left it on!! my mother kept trying to tell me to leave it but i was adament about taking it off.... mothers are always right! lol

and no, i dont think it's 'over the top' i think its a personal thing..i've seen many brides leave it on, and others take it off...

Is it weird that I do not want to wear a veil at all during my wedding, not even to walk down the aisle?!? I'm not a big fan...

I have a pretty plain fingertip length veil (with blusher). I want to take it off after the first dance, but my mom wants me to wear it the whole night. We'll see who wins....

i am definitely going to see how it feels to wear, if its super comfy then it will stay til the very end but if its in the way then it will have to go.....

I am planning on wearing my veil for the entire day until I drop from exhaustion after the wedding in our hotel suite.

It's the one and only time you get to dress like this so I am milking it for all it's worth!
