Did any of you or your FH/DH work down at the trade center after the collapse?

Did any of you or your FH/DH work down at the trade center after the collapse?

Anthony did for 2 months right after and Im really worried. He has a lunp in his chest and they are sending him for a mommogram. He has also been having heart palpitations. Now im sitting here and News 12 keeps talking about the dangerous dust.. They said the workers lungs aged 12 years. Im just freaking out.

Is anyone elses FH/DH experiencing anything similar?

Thanks. Any idea why they would send him for a mammogram and not a chest X-Ray?

If there is a lump in his chest, it's better to send him for a mammogram because they'll get a better idea of what's there. Plus, they'll be able to give him a sonogram if necessary. An x-ray wouldn't reveal much.

I am not a doctor, but I always thought that Xrays were used to detect if there was a problem with the bone and sonograms were to detect what a mass was made up of and is less invasive than an MIR or CT scan. Your DH is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything is ok.

My FH works just a couple of blocks away. He is getting nervous hearing about all these people who are now sick 5 yeas later. I hope Anthony is okay...keep us posted.

I worked there for the first 4 days. I went back two weeks later and remained for the next 11 months. Im nervous too b/c so many people in my company are sick.

I myself have come down with various starains of pneumonia and I have chronically come down with more bouts of bronchitis than ever thought possible.

I totally understand your concerns and I am for you and FH.

Mine too... He's been sent for chest x-rays though.
