Did anyone book or check out Rick & Co. Photography? *NM*

I checked them out

I went and I checked them out in January. While I was there a woman came in to pick up her finished albums. I got into a conversation with her. I asked her when did she get married. She said that she got married last February. I asked her why did it take almost a year to get her final albums. She said that she held on to her proofs for 6 months. So I didn't say another word but I was thinking why did it take another 5 months until she got her albums. Because of that I ended up hiring Dan Krieger. I asked him how long should it take to get our albums after we give them our proofs. He said it would take about 6-8 weeks to make the albums.

I checked them out

I also checked him out. My experience was a total joke! He swore that he worked at my hall many times before, but kept calling it by the wrong name. Then he wanted me to 'refresh' him on the rules there, b/c he didn't want me bumping into any other brides. The hall only holds one event at a time. Then when I asked to see examples of his work there, he gave us some lame excuse for not having any on hand. Meanwhile, there were stacks and stacks of albulms next to us. In the work that he showed us, we noticed shadows of the video guy in many pics. When we told him we didn't think he was what we were looking for, he practically begged us to stay, pulling out more and more albulms. Needless to say, we beat a hasty retreat!

A friend used them....

I checked him out bc a friend of my mother's said she liked him. The place wreaks of smoke, first of all. Then, he tried to tell us that his video place is not the same as one other we had looked at (we didn't like the other one so that's why we asked.) The video was awful and it was EXACTLY the same as the one we saw that we hadn't liked. He lied. Anyway, we decided not to go with him bc I felt like all he did was lie. A friend of mine hired him and he was a copmlete idiot at the wedding. He got into a fight with someone that worked at the hall bc he was putting his camera on the buffet, all he did was eat! I saw the proofs and there were mirrors and reflections of lights in the background. Not good.
