Just curious. I have always been against this, god forbid something happens, I feel like the holiday might be ruined. I told FH this from the very beginning, no proposals on christmas, no birthdays, and definitely not valentine's day. He choose a day in december when we were in disney world.

We got engaged last christmas. I never thought of it in the way that you guys are talking about. We hadnt planned on getting engaged so I was totally surprised. I think it was special and nice and I would have never thought I was getting engaged when we did. I honestly would have expected it on vacation

We were suppose to on a Holiday-my favorite Holiday-Halloween, but it happened the day before Halloween instead-it worked out better this way

it was fun having gotten engaged early in the morning and then have to head straight to a soccer field and NOT tell anyone we just got engaged!!!! We tried to keep it a secret and it was so much fun keeping it secret!!! One of the other women kept staring at me hand looking at me all funny, but she never said anything about it!!

It was just a day in July. FH was trying to pick a place in France to ask me but he felt the Eiffel Tower was too cliche. So he waited until we headed to the south of France. I have no idea!! Especially because he asked me 3 days before we went home and we were in France for two weeks!! I figured it wasn't going to happen.
I think if he asked me on a holiday I would have been excited also. I am sure you wouldn't give it much thought because of your excitement!

no, just a random day. i kept telling FH that i didn't want it on a holiday. he kept threatening to do it on my birthday and i told him no way.
