Did anyone have to pick their own engagement ring?

Long story short..I've always wanted to design my own engagement ring, and I made that very clear to FH in the beginning of our relationship.

So last year when FH proposed he bought me a BEAUTIFUL ring that I had mentioned I wanted, but its not an e-ring style, and he calls it my pre-engagement ring..

A year later..and I still have no clue what I want..I can't even deceide if I want a princess or round center stone! I wish I would have never told him I wanted to design it..because when it comes down to it..I can't make up my mind on what I want to wear..'forever'...hehe...all of them look beautiful to me!

Well, he took off from work next week and made an appt for us to meet with a jeweler, so needless to say..I have to come to a decision soon!! ...

Please post pics of your ring, or any ring for me to get some ideas...TIA!!

Fh knew that I loved the Princess Cut. His best friend's dad is a jeweler so he went to him. He picked out the diamonds and the setting and then had the ring made.

I knew exactly what i wanted and fh did a great job because he got me exactly what i asked for! i made a sample on blue nile and when i got it ..it was identical to the pic!
