oh NO.. i actually CALLED THEM THIS AM!!!!! I wasn't having any part of it.. Danielle really REALLY made me mad.. So I call.. they put me on hold- then cut to horoscopes.. ***?!?!?
So I have sent, and resent, an email numerous times today... here it is...
Good morning everyone!
I called this morning and was unfortunately put on hold for a bit too long and then you jumped to horoscopes... why? I had a good point too!
Anyway, I just wanted to say that on LI it is MORE expensive to get married on a holiday weekend because it is just that, a HOLIDAY! That being said, I am not getting married on a holiday/ holiday weekend. I can not afford it. However two of my friends are (1 Memorial Day weekend, 1 Fourth of July weekend) not because they are Bridezillas and expect everyone to come, or to make it all about them.. Surprisingly, they are getting married and spending more money on a holiday weekend for their guests.. They wanted to make it possible for all of their out of town family/friends to come to the wedding and not have to rush home that evening or the next day for work. I think that is a pretty noble idea, don't you? It isn't because the brides are trying to ruin your holiday.. If anything we are constantly trying to avoid confrontations.. I am really upset with Danielle's attitude. We don't mind if people can't make it to our wedding, it is upsetting, you are invited for a reason; but the fact that some people have it in their head already that they will NOT go because of the date is absolutely absurd..
I had to vent! I usually love you guys but this subject was a little incorrect in relaying information, and being a bride, I took offense to some of it.
