I booked the Watermill without my fiancee. I was overwhelmed at the way the place looked and I was with my parents who are paying for the whole wedding. My fiancee is mad because he wasn't there to look at the place, I told him he could still go there before I gave the rest of the deposit but he says no he will go the day of the wedding. I got him to open up a little more yeterday and he seems like he is starting to forgive me. He really had his heart set on Giorgio's but I agree with my parents that place is a little too far, especially if I wanted a night wedding. Thanks girls!! oops I mean ladies.

The thing that probably bothers him about this is that you took the experience away from him. It's not like you asked him to come see it before you booked and he said no or something like that. From your posts it seemed like he wanted to look at at least one place and now he won't have the chance to do that. I can definitely see why he is hurt by this.

Once he gets over the initial madness he will be fine! In fact he may be happy that it is one less thing to have to worry about.

just wanted to send you a to make you feel better. Dont worry so much about whether you made a mistake or not. It happened, your fiance loves you enough to get over it and he will. you were excited, and those places can be very forceful in their sales pitches. Take him to visit ASAP, and assure him that he has the final say, if he does not like it you can always cancel. Please dont get upset... there is a lot more to go and you will need your strength !!!

awww you are very sweet, thank you. my fiancee really likes the place just by looking at pictures, and I told him that it's better looking in person. My mom apologized to him today when he came over too. His dad and his first cousin both said the place is really nice
