My wedding is June 3rd, and I mailed them this morning.. My mom is giving me hell saying I mailed them out too early....

Did you send out STD's? It might be a little too early, but then again IMO it's never too early.
You might not get the RSVP's back right away since most people wait till the last minute anyway, but I think it's fine.

I think that is not to early. When is you deadline for your hall? Also that is right around the holiday so many people will plan vacations around than. School grads, and things like that

It is not too early. You usually send them out 2 months before the wedding so that you have some time for the procratinators to get back to you and also so that you can have time to invite others in case of some no responses.

No, your fine....since your RSVP Date is May 1st that gives your guests 5 wks to RSVP - your timing is right.

I don't think it's too early at all. I just mailed mine on Saturday and my wedding is a week before yours.

I don't think so. You sent them out one week early. I sent mine out 2 weeks early because it's a holiday weekend.

No--my wedding is June 3rd also, and I wish I had sent mine out already! Mine will go out in a day or two. You're supposed to send them out eight weeks beforehand, which is next week, I just feel anxious and want them out. I made my RSVP date May 1st, which is why, I guess.

You are fine! My wedding is also June 3. I sent out out of state and out of country last week and I plan on sending out the rest by April 1. You don't want to give people too much time to respond because then they may put it to the side and forget.

Hey, I guess there are a bunch of us here! I wasn't sure if it was a very popular date, as we didn't book it until December and we got a really good deal because the date was open. We wanted a Sunday afternoon wedding anyway, so it worked out well for us. I don't suppose anyone here is having the evening wedding at Timber Point on June 3rd? In other words, the one after mine! I apologize in advance if we're messy.

I dont think you did. I sent mine out the first week of Feb. and wedding date is May 5th. date. Rsvp date is april 2nd. I do have to say people are so annoying... and love to wait till the last min.
