well he was a 'crush' and we were only 15. . . my heart would go *pitter patter* every time i saw him . . . but I had to ask HIM out (through a FRIEND on the INTERNET) so not exactly a great start.

i knew he was one bc at that point i was a total make out sl*t BUT i was sooo nervous to kiss him i avoided it for like two weeks!!

he DEFINITELY didnt know i was the one until he broke up with me that summer - and i moved on and he didnt! after a month apart we got back together and we have been stuck ever since!

omg i just remembered who teh FRIEND was i was talking to on the internet - i am going to start a new thread!

we dated years ago and then lost touch then out of no where i couldnt stop thinking bout him and wondering what he has been up to what he was doing and where he was in life. so my sister saw him and he was asking bout me so we got in touch and went on several dates and then i knew he was the one

I was pretty young so I guess my head wasn't in that place to say 'this is the guy that I'm going to marry' but I knew there was a very strong connection. We did become a 'couple' the very day we met and I did realize very early on in the relationship that we would be together for a long time.

He told me only a month or so ago that he knew from the day we met that I was the one!

Haha - when he told me this I said 'come on, you've got to be kidding me.' But I know when he's serious and he was serious - he may not be the most romantic man 24/7 but these little things make me melt!

Well after our first date, I told him I never wanted to see him again..lol Then he sent me something in the mail that which had to do with a conversation we had on out first date and I was in shock that he actually remembered. I got chills. Of course I saw him again a few days later...lol. I didn't know he was the one for a little while because I was being VERY cautious. But we are both really happy how things turned out.

yeah it is funny...fh grew up 2 blocks away from me, we know alot of the same people and for 4 years while he was in college he delivered to me from this local italian restaurant. Once i used to see it was him i used to try and fix my hair quickly lol, he still makes fun of me about that

awwww, how cute! Ahhh I remember the early days..when you actually attempted to look decent for him every single time!

the funniest part is that we grew up two blocks away from eachother and I NEVER knew...he remembers me when we were younger but he looked different so i feel bad that i really dont remember that much, but at 18 he bloomed lol, and i remember seeing him out at a club one night and he was talking to a bunch of guys i knew but didnt know he was from my neighborhood. He started dancing and hes like a SIICK dancer hahaha, and i was just drooling hahaha, i was like WHO IS THAT ... then he started delivering to me and i was like its him...but for some reason i thought he was from whitestone...the night we met and i dropped him off home i was like OMG i cant believe you live here

I met him at a dorm party and actually hated him because he threw water on me, because it was a water fight, but he by accident got like freeezing cold water that I wanted to kill him!! but that night I left my scarf in his room on accident because I pretty drunk by this time, although he likes to think I did it on purpose, but he called me to tell me to come pick it up, and decorated the room with roses and candles and apologized for throwing cold water on me, and asked me out, it was sooo cute!

Ready for this.....

I knew FH was the one after a week of 'dating' him. So much so that I moved from Florida to Wisconsin after only 'dating' for 3 weeks, just to be with him. What can I say...when you know, you know. It's a feeling that I cant even explain and that feeling has only gotten stronger in time. I've never regretted my decision, not even for a second! I love him.

i knew he was the one pretty much since i met him...but i was so scared of committment and marriage...so i broke up w him about 5 times in the first 7 years. LOL...no joke!!

but 2 years ago i finally realized i want to be with him forever...and it wasn't scary anymore, it was the best thing ever.

I didnt know he would be my FH, but when we first met i knew he would be in my life forever.

we were really good friends before we started dating.. I dont think either of us thought it would turn into something more.. but we are very glad it did.

I worked at a gym at the time, and FH used to come in and say hi to me, and I figured he was interested. His best 'girl' friend came to me, and asked me if I had a boyfriend, and I said no...still not realizing it was for him (I am clueless). Then one night when I was leaving work, he knocked on my window dressed in regular clothing, and he asked me for my number. I gave him my cell, and I screened his call, because I didn't think he was my 'type' (I also was 20, and pretty into my single life). Eventually I couldn't come up with any other excuses to not go out with him, so I said I would meet him at a bar with one of my friends. He didn't bring any of his friends, and after about 20 minutes my friend hitched a cab home.

We had so much in common, and we couldn't stop talking to eachother. After our next date we were pretty serious, and he started sleeping at my house all the time, and that was 5 years ago.

There wasn't a real feeling that he was the 'one', I just knew that I couldn't imagine my life without him. Here we are getting married...and I still feel the same way.

It's funny cause in high school I went out with his friend and he was always the funny guy. Then I went to college we both went to Cortland to visit our friends and happened to meet at a bar. I ignored him the next day after we hooked up. I didn't think he would call he called me 2 days later and a week later we both knew that it was ment to be and that we were going to spend the rest of our lives together...
