You know what is so funny, is that first nite he IM'd me for some strange reason i saved the conversation its pretty long, and it ends with us making plans to meet up, it was about 1am when we met up!!!

no, neither one of us was interested. Funny thing is that he didn't have a pen or paper for my number, I told him if he really wanted to take me out, he would memorize it. Well I gave him the number and two weeks later(it took him that long to get the numbers together) he called.

not at all....I met him when he had a girlfriend. He hit on me the entire night every time she went to the bathroom or something. I thought he was a total scumbag for it. But he broke up with her that night just so he could hang out with me since I was leaving the next day...I didn't realize he was the one til a few months and 6 cross country plane rides later :)

i was 17 met him at a concert at jones beach - summer of 01
we didnt 'date' for almost 2.5 years - and now 6 years later we are engaged

He was my friend for a while...we were 17 and 18 years old- I was going to try out as a singer for his band

THANKS GOD I DIDNT!!!! We just used to talk alot after school through AOL and on the phone as total buddies then one night I threw a party at my house and we got into a deep convo and it was really amazing....then he asked me for a hug and i thought it was so cool so I did and i SWEAR I felt my heart jump back....he felt it too....we just kinda looked at each other in disbelief...the only thig I can equate it to is cupids arrow...as cheesy as that sounds that's what it felt like....

i met him thru an old college roommate - we hit it off in a 'just friends' way, or so i thought.... i prayed he wouldn't make a move on me, i would feel so bad b/c he wasn't my type (whatever that means!) - but the moment he kissed me there were major sparks... we started talking marriage after 2-3 months - hello, 8-1/2 yrs later we're engaged LOL... i think we both knew it would happen eventually... timing is everything!

i was dating someone else when we first met but i remember thinking how much fun he was and what a great sense of humor he had..i ended up breaking up with the other guy and started to hang out with FH all the time...turns out his best friend from home was dating a girl i went to hs with who i knew and lived in my town (hes from valleystream, and im from farmingville)..they got engaged a few month before us. He left this message to FH on myspace when we first got engaged: ' I find it very amusing that we grew up just a few blocks apart and now we are getting married to two girls who grew up just a few blocks apart' hahah

We were friends for many years. he had liked me but I just got out of a long relationship when he asked me out. I was so confused about what to do so I made him wait 7 weeks for an answer (which was a no because I was scared that we would mess up our friendship).

Well 2 1/2 years later he drove me upstate to see my best friend in the hospital and he said that his ' fare for him driving me was for me to give him a kiss' so I did. It was one of the best kisses ever. A few weeks later asked me out and I said ' yes' Now we are getting married-

I can truly say that I am marrying my best friend!!!

You know... I think I knew he was the one shortly after we started hanging out. BUT i was so not ready for that kind of relationship.
I was dating bad boys and partying all the time. He was laid back and geeky and so not anything like my friends or even the me i was back then.

We got super close after workin on a play together. everyone thought we were dating but i was dating someone else.
I actually cheated on the other guy with him (I KNOW it was bad don't lecture me lol) and then felt guilty and broke it off with him
We basically hated eachother for a year... then got stuck working together again on an other show. I broke up with my then fiance a week later and the rest is history.

For the record my then fiance was cheating on me with a 16 year old so don't feel bad for him at all.

So YES i knew but i fought it tooth and nail.
He's the best thing that's ever happened to me.

FH's dad and my dad grew up next door to each other... our parents have been friends forever so i pretty much grew up with FH and had the BIGGEST crush on him my whole life!!

FH moved to california for a few years so i hadnt seen him in a very long time.... but i always knew he was the one b/c even when i was with boyfriend after boyfriend i would always think about him and wonder what he was up to in his life and think about the next time we would see each other

I was pretty young so I guess my head wasn't in that place to say 'this is the guy that I'm going to marry' but I knew there was a very strong connection. We did become a 'couple' the very day we met and I did realize very early on in the relationship that we would be together for a long time.

He told me only a month or so ago that he knew from the day we met that I was the one!

I met FH at a work happy hour while I was there with my then-boyfriend. I ended up breaking up with my BF (not that night) and he asked me out - it took him 3 tries to ask me out (FH and I worked together and I told him I don't date anyone from work) when I finally said yes. I knew he was the one after our first date. It only took him one time to ask me to marry him!
