My mom and my GRANDMOTHER did! My grandmother brought a pamplet from one of these teen pregnancy places, I was ready to die, I was like 11 or 12!! ![]()
Of course, I already knew this stuff from friends and TV and all that..
My mom says stuff now like 'we are very fertile in this family, it only took me one month to get pregnant with you and your sister, so be careful!!'![]()

Nope. Well .. I guess I should clarify a bit.
My MOM never talked to me about sex, my period or anything. I think she still believes babies come from cabbage patches.
And while my dad also did not give me any information 'up front' - once I DID become sexually active, I found that I could ask him about anything. So when the guy in my life was being particulary 'odd' if you will![]()
my dad was always open to whatever questions or thoughts I had about it.
I hope to be able to talk to my kids in the same way.

My mom was pretty open about talking about sex, but i think at the time I just tried to block her out. I still think it's weird to talk about sex with my mom, but that doesn't stop us! ![]()

My mom is a nurse in the maternity ward... I got the scary sex talk... EVERYTIME a teenager gave birth... I was a virgin till I was 19 due to those talks.
