so the world is mostly laughing AT him not with him...
I grew up getting laughed at and I find this very disturbing.

I think he does know that he is just a sad joke and that everyone is laughing at him but I don't think he cares because he is going to be laughing all the way to the bank with all the hard earned money that people make. I will not buy any of his CD's, I don't care if he was selling them for a buck. His music is not worth a penny and it is an insult to the people that work hard all of their lives sacrificing just to get their foot in any door and then this fool comes along and gets a contract for making an a** of himself. This is why the world laughs at us, I mean come on should this be one of america's best talent??????? The most saddest thing is that people will buy his albums. I would not want my hard money going to this 'American Joke'...If I want to spend my money on something stupid then I'd rather buy a dumb knick knack I don't need.

My husband always imitates him and laughs hysterically and I get soooooooooo annoyed.

But I don't think he is the reason other countries laugh at us... there are far worse things than William Hung

Sh*t I think he's got the right idea.

He now has women that love him, he's singing which he loves to do and he's making lots of $$$ for it.

I think he knows he's not great at what he does....enough people have told him that.

I don't think he cares, he's making people happy (people love him) and he's making himself happy.

He is not the only reason why the world laughs at us but he is another reason for them to laugh at us...

I applaud him for his courage in trying out for American Idol. No, he is not talented but he does have appeal.....otherwise he still wouldn't be in the news.

I'm glad he's making money. He's not hurting anyone, not singing about anything malicious, not exposing himself onstage. I'll bet there are some singers out there who without help in the studio don't sound so great either...they just have a great publicist who gave them an 'image'.

I was on ITunes tonight and found 4 songs from him...beside 'She Bangs', there was 'I Believe I Can Fly', 'Free' and 'Rocket Man'.

He's doing what makes him happy, and if in turn, people want to listen, good for him.

I feel bad though, people listen to him not to hear hhis music but to laugh at him and make fun of him...and I dont think he even realizes it

The guy is an engineer student - he's no moron.
Maybe he can make enough money to go through school @ Berkley-
