FH was a little annoyed I booked our RH without him being there, so I've been dragging him to various appointments and DJ showcases to gauge his reaction on what he likes/wouldn't like...
How many brides here have booked vendors with FHs by their side? or do you actually book them without telling FH ? My FH doesnt seem to care and says as long as they show up, its fine..but sometimes I wonder whether I need to involve him more in my vendor selection? what are you ladies doing ?

FH has come to: the hall booking, photographer, dj, church, invitations
but didnt make it to: flowers and DOC

Fh didn't go with me He didn't even want to look at the websites with me but He didn't go with me because we live OOT and most of the time I went alone to NY...but at least he could have helped me picked photo/video...that was the hardest

So far we have limos, photo/video, DJ and hall booked. FH came with me to the RH, DJ, and limos. I went on my own for photo/video but consulted him before so he knew what was included in the package that I had wanted.

FH is involved in every vendor selection. He came to all of the RHs that I pre-screened and I am happy he did. He's very picky and I would not have been happy beyond doubt if he wasn't there, not to mention I would never hear the end of it if the vendor turned out crappy. Its not worth it.

I definately involved DH. But the selection process was all me. I picked the vendors to meet with and I picked who we booked. DH came on EVERY single appt with me and when i was torn on something I consulted him to see what he liked.
He was involved but I was definitely the driver. I LOVED that he came on every appt and was involved!!!

I never booked a vendor or did anything without DH or at least talking to him about it first. He wanted to be involved, and I wanted to make sure he not only liked and agreed with what we were doing, but was ok spending our money on what we were spending it on. I know he was glad to be part of the process.

I did everything with my mom. I took fh back to the rh and dj before booking. He works so much it would have been impossible to meet with everyone I wanted to meet with if I had to go with him.

rhs: fh went to every single one with me, then we made a decision together
other vendors: i do all the leg work, and fh has come to all the appointments where we book them (except for our harpist and my dress)

FH was involved with all the big decisions such as picking out which RH we would go look at, limos, photographer, DJ. Thankfully we agreed on everything.
He isn't interested in the girly things like invites flowers and little details.

FH and I have booked every vendor together. The only one he didn't want to go to was the photographer's initial meeting so I went with my mom, but I had him meet them before we booked.

We both searched for vendors and set up appointments. FH wanted to be apart of everything. We booked all our vendors together.

I had FH go with me although he didn't care about certain ones like flowers. for that, i went to florists by myself and then brought FH back to the one i was looking to book

FH has gone to all appointments with me, but a lot of the actual bookings I've done myself because it was a matter of calling/emailing the vendor back letting them know that we wanted to move forward, and we got the contracts sent in the mail.
Obviously FH had nothing to do with hair/makeup or dress...he was there for the RH appointments but was out of the country when we booked it, we booked florist together, we went to photography appointments together but I called or emailed to book, same with limo and DJ.

I ususally do all of the research and FH comes with me to the appointments and from there we book together.

FH has come along to all of the vendor meetings. He couldn't come to meet the limo guy because he got stuck late at work and he was sad he missed it. He def wants to be involved in everything!!

for the RH my sister & I went 'shopping around.' when i found the one i took FH to see it.
for the band, we are using a band that was at our friends wedding so i guess he heard that vendor prior to booking.
for photo/video, limos & florist i picked family friends who provide these services which he is content with.
i guess i am doing everything on my own, but i do ask his opinion before signing any contracts or giving any deposits, because hey its his wedding too.

I went around and looked at the RHs and then when I narrowed it down to two FH went and looked at them with his mom. Then we went back to the place with booked for one last look together and with our parents. We booked the DJ together (but it's my cousin so that was easy). He said he wants to come with me to invites but our friend owns the store so he'll hang out with our friend and my sisters will help me decide (and while he's there I'll ask him what he thinks of course but he won't care). Limo's I'm doing with my sister and FSIL (my maid and matron). Linens I'm doing with my mom. Photo/Video he had no interest in and told me to just go sign the contract. Flowers he'll come with me because his cousin owns the store HAHA! He really doesn't care about much. The little details are his baby and he said he'll figure out music.

FH lives in FL so I book everything without him. The only thing that we booked together was our RH.
