FH was a little annoyed I booked our RH without him being there, so I've been dragging him to various appointments and DJ showcases to gauge his reaction on what he likes/wouldn't like...
How many brides here have booked vendors with FHs by their side? or do you actually book them without telling FH ? My FH doesnt seem to care and says as long as they show up, its fine..but sometimes I wonder whether I need to involve him more in my vendor selection? what are you ladies doing ?
I booked the Church, RH, DJ and photo/video with him.
I booked the florist w/o him.

DH not only came with me to every appt, he's the one who made all the appts! (I just gave him a list of where I wanted to go.) He was more opinionated than I was at most places.

So far we went to every single appointment together, and it appears that the FH enjoys being involved in the process of planning. At the beginning he told me that all he has to do is show up, but once we got into the spirit of planning, he wanted to be at everything. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Our wedding will be the most important day of both our lives , and so of course his opinion matters. In addition, since we are paying half/half for everything, how can I not value his opinion?

i research and fh goes with me to vendors that i narrow down to be the best or top three. i don't want to take him to a million vendors so i keep the lists short when it comes to actually meeting with vendors and he comes willingly

We booked our RH and all other vendors together... for the vendors I bascially looked them up and found them, but I asked for his opinion for everything- eventhough I knew for the most part he would say 'whatever you want babe'.. I had to ask him anyway.
I make more that FH does and since its our wedding I felt it was important to get his opinion regardless of who was paying for what.
I would just continue to include him with the vendors so that he feels included. Good luck!!

FH is very involved. He has been there for every appointment even the florist.. The hall is pretty important so he definitely wanted to be there for that / i also wanted him there for that. iF he doesnt want to be there for flowers or lighting I wouldnt mind.

I did all the research & make the appts. Then we go together & FH talks them down on the price..I want to crawl under a table in embarrassment haha but he did awesome job everytime & we got everything for less!

I did and do all the research and picking where were going to go and set up the apt but my FH is really picky so he goes with me. Although he needs to learn how to play hard ball he's ready to sign everything right then and there but i like to research everything. must be the teacher in me! lol

We pretty much did everything together. I booked flowers with out him there but called him first for the ok before booking and he also came back to meet with the florist when making a payment. Limos and DJ were definitely HIS job and his choice but I went a long for the ride!!! I want the wedding to scream Me and FH's personalities. I want people to leave saying that was so 'them'. So he had no choice but to be fully involved. It is definitely the wedding of his dreams as well as mine.

With the exception of the makeup artist and hairdresser, FH has been with me to every vendor appointment. He wants to be there. I show him everything that I want to do and he gives me his opinion. I don't want to do anything without him because its his wedding too.

Same here!! Well FH was interested in being a part of picking the RH...everything else he has left up to me... he says he trusts me to pick the right stuff..also schedule conflicts would make it really hard for us to go together, anyways... we are paying for everything ourselves, but he trusts me

I thought FH would only want to be involved in the RH and the DJ..but it seems he now wants to be involved in all of it. Which is good b/c it is his wedding too but also it's good to have someone else's perspective on things so your not doing it alone

I do all the research and make the appointments. Fh ALWAYS wants to come with me to the meetings. We always agree on a vendor before booking
