I LOVED my hall and so happy I stayed with them but there are so many gorgeous halls out there!! A few I went to see even after I booked my hall and some I didnt learn about until I came on here but at that point it was too late since I had given my hall a big chunk of $$$. I know now that I made the right decision but just wondering if anyone else ever went through it.

Well, at first I was wondering if I made the right choice with my hall but after reading some reviews about my hall and others I realized that there is no perfect halls out there no matter how much you are paying. There was I reason why I chose it to begin with so I will be happy when my day comes.

Yes! I'm an OOT bride so we didn't get a chance to check out too many halls. We went to CHCC and I was like, this is the ONE. I mean I even cried when I thought I couldn't get it. But then I started to second guess it because of some of the stuff I read on here. But now, I'm like I picked it for a reason so I'm trying not to get stressed. I'm just going to let my Banquet manager know my concerns.

Doing it right now.
I'm not happy with them. They're missing the point that they're jeopardizing an entire reception over a tiny issue.
We've had our invitations reprinted, bridesmaid dresses are being remade, so why not choose another reception hall?

I really do love our hall. I went there recently when my mom was visiting and fell in love all over again. But, honestly, if I had more money, I think I would have had my reception somewhere else. Don't get me wrong though - I LOVE our place. Really love it!! Very much!!

Nope! I walked into Fox Hollow and absolutely loved it...FH looked at me and goes 'ohhh this is so nice..' and it was only the second place we looked at..but we booked it right there!

So sorry to hear that. I wish you luck. I know how difficult some vendors can be (my photographer). I wish I had taken signs I had seen early on and changed, because it only became more of a nightmare later on. Best of luck!

We didn't at all. Although there are so many beautiful places out there I could throw a totally different wedding at another beautiful place. I am very happy with our choice, it was a perfect day. I can't wait for my sister to get engaged though (she needs to find a bf first, lol) so I can help her plan. She has already said she plans on just calling me and letting me loose, she can't be bothered with the details.

The hall is probably the only thing that I don't second guess. I love my hall and I'm confident that everything will be taken care of the day of.

I think I second guess everything, but I really haven't when it comes to the hall. The main reason we picked the place we did, was for sentimental reasons. (then the price was right, too!)
In the spot where we will get married, you can see the spot where we actually met and had our first conversation. So since we're dorks, this was really really special for us.

YES! All the time, so much so that this the 3rd hall we booked (it stuck this time)...ugh! But we're so happy now and that's what matters. I think we were so naive before and would book due to pressure...the worst kind of booking. Luckily, we didn't lose much on deposits.

YES - a BIG YES, we did second guess. WIth good reason too!! We switched halls just TWENTY FIVE days before the wedding!! I was freaking out!!
Lombardi's on the Sound was EXCELLENT!!! Soooo happy we swicthed halls and that Lombardi's on the Sound had my date available.
It was meant to be!!
