Did you get bumped to First Class on the airplane because you were on your honeymoon?

Did you get bumped to First Class on the airplane because you were on your honeymoon?

If so/If not... which airline did you use?

I was going to book Jet Blue to Orlando, but I heard they don't have a First Class. Then there would be really NO chance of being bumped up? Anyone know which airline flies to Orlando that has a first class? Southwest, maybe?

southwest dosnt have first class either

we flew AA and they had first clas... there was no bumped and we had to pay $$$ because our bags were overweight...

Nope. We got zip. The only things we did get were bottles of champagne at the hotels where we stayed.

nope - seems to be harder and harder to get this. But the resorts take good care of honeymooners.

interesting... so maybe I'll just do Jet Blue and give up the hopes of First Class. Ya think they would at least throw in a bag of pretzels for the Newlyweds? lol

JetBlue doesn't have first class but, their seats are comfy and you have a tv at every seat.

They are very customer service oriented so I'm sure they will do something special for you if they know it's your honeymoon (even if it's just giving you an extra snack or something).

nope! I wore my Bride hoodie and told the ticket agent we were on our HM. Would have been nice b/c we were on an overnight flight to London. But it was also a full flight. We did splurdge though and paid a little extra to fly home from Paris First Class.

Hahahaha. No. We flew Delta and there was no such thing.

We also found that on our flight from Atlanta to St Lucia there were about 15 (at least) newlywed couples! So that would have been a lot of moving to first class!

no our flight was full - if it wasn't we would have but that was because we knew the pilot

but they really don't do that anymore- they give it to premium members or make you pay -

I loove riding with Jetblue! I only take them when I fly to Orlando! Their customer service is impecable (sp)!!!!

full flight- I could have upgraded for $1100 but I let people talk to out of it

but my huband is 260 lbs and has a bad neck- and after out last trip we are NEVER flying coach again- I woul dpay for 1st class or take Jet blue

nope nada no first class for us!!!!
whatever our flight was not full and we had plenty of room to spread out.

at the hotel that is another story. we got matching honeymoon t-shirts. champange and fruit basket to the room and a special dinner on the beach. and 10% off at the gift shop. hey well take anyting.

i was wondering this too. but my TA says they dont really do that anymore. I am still going to ask anyway.

I think that airlines have really clamped down on 'free' upgrades -- in part because they would rather give them to people who are members of their frequent fly programs.

No - we almost didn't get to sit together! It was a full flight both coming & going-we flew American.

I always think of Monica and Chandler with this stuff...

'We're them... 5 seconds later!'... the honeymoon couple in front of them kept getting all the perks! lol.

on the airlines we got nothing! we got a slight room upgrade at our hotels.

We flew delta(song) to california, and on the way back they bumped us to first class. there was no special treatment, except the chairs were bigger and much more comfortable. But we loved it!!

I would do Jet Blue. Southwest you pick your own seat but there is no first class. You have to get on line early if you want to sit near the front.
