LAST NIGHT I HAD MY ENGAGEMENT PICS WITH PATKEN- IT WAS ON SITE AND THEY TOOK THEM FOR FREE BUT ONLY TOOK 12 PICS OF US BOTH TOGEHTER - THEY GAVE US 2 FOR FREE BUT I HAD TO ASK FOR THE SECOND ONE. I FEEL CHEATED DID YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR OFF-SITE ENGAGEMENT PICTURES AND DID YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PROOFS? HOW MUCH ?

When I took my e-pics with Patken they said the person taking ur pics is not necessarily going to be the photographer for the wedding. The would review what you liked and didn't like and try to pair you up with someone they thought would be the best fit.
Who took your pictures anyway?

I didnt get many pictures for my engagement pics! I was slightly dissapointed. I was able to keep the proofs however I had to pay for them and I only received 1 photo for free! I was very dissapointed to say the least! I hope that things go better with my Wedding pics and this wasnt a sign that I should look for a new photographer!

Mine came with my package. We used 12th Night. We went to a local park and he took about 60 pics that we got on a CD when we got back to the studio that day. I also get all my proofs on CD too.

MY FIANCEE WOULD KNOW WHO TOOK THEM BUT I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER THAT IS HOW MUCH I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH HIM AND I LOVE PATKEN I JUST REALLY DIDN'T LIKE HIM AT ALL HE TOOK 10 MIN TO TAKE PICS SAID HE WOULD BE BACK IN 10 TO SHOW ME THE PICS ON THE COMP AND THEN ANOTHER GUY CAME AND SHOWED US AND TALKED TO US WITH OUT HIM SAYING NICE TO MEET YOU OR GOODBYE- HE WAS DOUBLE BOOKED WITH US AND ANOTHER COUPLE AND THAT WASEN'T RIGHT BUT I LOVE THE PICS THAT THEY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO TAKE OR ELSE I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOOKED THEM AND I HOPE THAT I WILL GET SOMEONE MORE ON MY LEVEL WHO IS JUST AS OUTGOING AND FUN AND WHO WILL TREAT ME LIKE I'M WORTH THEM BEING THERE FOR

I am going to Patken on Wens for our e-shoots. I have to admit no one explained to me about the engagement shoot and when i called they then gave me the info when booking.

We booked Patken also...they told us when we booked them that it was not really engagement pictures it was really to see which photographer works well with you(I wasn't thrilled about that-but I love there work so we went with them anyway)they took about 15 pictures it only took like 10 mins and we got one pic for free and we bought some other ones

ok i'm over this lil bump in my long road to getting married thanks to all sorry for venting i love patkens work and i would still recommend them to all
