Did you know he was the 1 when you guys met? We had a really rocky beginning because I was seeing somebody - then he was.... and we were both B****es to each other because of it.
I totally knew though on our first date that there was no way in the world I was going to let him go! He felt the same too... it was like we were being pulled together and once it finally happened we knew why.

I knew when we first met that he was really special, and the first time we ever hung out just the two of us I knew he was the one.

When we first MET in college, I didn't really remember him - I was too busy falling asleep in class. He actually said the first time he noticed me was once when I woke up with such a start that I almost fell onto the floor along with my desk I didn't really notice him until the next semester and we began the staring game, which went on for a few weeks. We started chatting a lil bit and he took my number to get together during one of our breaks. That first date I knew that I never enjoyed someone's company so much and wanted to spend as much time with him as possible! So yes, I'd say I had a hunch he was the one!

I don't know if I believe in the 'one'. But we're happy together and I love him and that's all that matters.

FH and I met when I was only 18, he was 29. We were co-workers but at the time he had a gf (who also worked in the same place )
Anywho we clicked well as friends but obviously that caused a bit of confusion etc..Soo...FH and I both left the job, lost touch. Fast fwd we reconnected 2 yrs later, he was single and so was I but not ready for relationship so we KIT as friends. Fast fwd another 4 yrs later.. We finally went out on a date...he was still on the fence about giving up his ' bachelorhood' ....so beginning was quite rocky..but eventually everything fell into place.
I always knew something was 'different/special' about him but also careful as I have met my share of losers..
4 yrs as a couple and 4.5 mos away from our wedding and to this day we both cannot believe it ONLY took us 12 YEARS to get it right!! OUr families too think it is about time...

I knew after two weeks. When I first met him timing was wayyyyyy off but we hung out as 'friends' so when we stopped talking after a while I was like wow was I wrong and then he contacted me a few months later and I knew fate brought us together

Great question. Well FH and I met in College in August of 2004. We started dating in February 2005 and in May of 2005 after my Graduation from College I decided to not move back to NY and to stay in MD to be with FH. At that point I knew he was the one. I knew he was worth changing my entire life for. I knew he was it for me and I for him!

I realized about a month into the relationship that we were going to get married. Thing is if you told me this in High School when I was 16 and friends with him, I would have said NO F'ING WAY!!!!! It's so funny how things work out!

yes!!! I know this is super corny, but for me it was love at first sight... of course I didnt tell him that but as we got to know each other more and more I knew my first impression was right!
