I think I might want to bring mine - I'm sure friends and family will have pictures that I'll be dying to see....and of course I have to stalk AG's blog
On the other hand, its our HM and I feel like its a sin to bring electronics on vacation....

HELL NO! lol...but if you are dying for internet access, most hotels have computers for guest use!

We brought our laptop and downloaded the pics from the honeymoon on the laptop. The day before we came home the laptop broke. We lost our honeymoon pics. I have no idea why the laptop broke, but we have it now at best buy trying to retrieve our honeymoon pics. (They are charging over 100 for the pics!)
I say relax and enjoy the honeymoon- and leave the laptop at home. The pics will be there when you get back.

The only reason I'd bring it is to transfer pics off of my camera. I am deciding still.. lol. If I get 1-2 more cards I will not bring it at all.

I thought about it and decided not to. We are hitting 3 cities over 12 days and I don't want to lug it around. FH and I both have cameras that hold tons of pics, so we'll be fine.

nope, it stayed home! the resort did have computers you could use (for a small fee) which we used i think once or twice.

i wont...but i know FH will most likely bring it. he doesnt travel anywhere without it---he is weird haha.
but he likes to be able to transfer photos from the camera to the computer while on vaca. he did it when we went on our cruise but otherwise i know he wont use it, he'll just bring it to be able to do that.

I would just go to an internet cafe. Don't bring the LT. You will use it too much if it is with you. You can have someone text you when the blog piks are up. I can't wait for your wedding piks!

no, dh wanted to bring his but i said you dont need it. I left 5 days after the wedding so before i left i saw the preview on AG's page and had pics from friends. When im on vacation i dont go near computers
most likely your hotel will have computers you can use.

not sure if the hotel will have computers - its a timeshare so i dont think they will have any......i like having a laptop in the airport - it comes in handy if you are delayed but im keeping my fingers crossed that we won't have any problems...i just like having email access and neither one of us has a blackberry....plus i know people will be sending photos and i'm not going to have time to check - we only have 1 day in between the wedding and HM - and half of that day we'll still be out in Long Island - by the time we get home it will be late afternoon and i'll want to spend that time with my parents before we leave (my parents are only coming up for the wedding)

I had no choice, I was flying from NY directly to St. Lucia and then heading right back to school and starting class the next day.
It was really convenient! we left for our honeymoon the next morning and got internet access at the airport -- my friends had already posted 100+ wedding pictures on facebook so we got to see them! i also uploaded the ones people took on my camera onto my laptop so i'd have more room for honeymoon pictures. (i also uploaded my pictures halfway through our honeymoon to make more room -- i took 300 pictures while we were there, and we looked at them all on the plane back)
we also sent a quick email to our families to let them know we got in safely, and we checked our e-mail while waiting to leave for the airport. our hotel had free wireless in the lobby (which i wasnt expecting)

its completely up to you, if you want to bring it then fine. But also keep in mind other things you have. Well DH and i had alot of luggage plus each had carry-ons, i think thats the only reason i convinced Dh not to bring it since we had so much already, we had 4 suitcases plus each of us had a carry on so 6 all together but the 2 were small. I dont bring it only bc once im out or once im on vacation, i go no where near a computer, but thats me. If you dont mind then go for it. If youre delayed at the airport, do what dh and i do , drink at the bar and hang out lol

We did...our honeymoon was 3 weeks long and my husband brought his laptop to down load pictures onto out of our camera and burn them onto CDs........we took A LOT Of pictures. We were also able to go to a cofee shop one day and use their free Wi-Fi to see our wedding proofs...our photographer had them ready 2 weeks after the wedding!!!

We brought ours just in case we felt lost wand wanted to look up places to go. Otherwise we didnt use it. I also wanted to check my email and email my family pics from our vacay. It was really just a safety net to have it there.

well i have to, because basically our HM is a roadtrip across country (we're driving back home to CO after the wedding). We're saving the trip we REALLY wanna take (to Greece or Rome) for when he's outta school next year. We'll probably do it on our first or second anniversary. So needless to say - i will definitely have my laptop on that journey. But I wouldn't suggest it for a 'regular' honeymoon, mainly because you dont wanna be lugging it around with you, and i never feel safe leaving my laptop in a hotel room. I always feel like the cleaning ladies will steal it or something. I dunno. I get paranoid about expensive electronics. So maybe just leave it home?
