Did You Or Will You Bring Laptop on your HM?

I think I might want to bring mine - I'm sure friends and family will have pictures that I'll be dying to see....and of course I have to stalk AG's blog

On the other hand, its our HM and I feel like its a sin to bring electronics on vacation....

I do not go anywhere without my laptop, and DH will bring his too.

I brought mine...we were in Europe for 2 weeks. I really liked having it when there was some downtime. I don't think it's bad if you bring it lol.

We brought out laptops with us to download our honeymoon pictures. It actually came in handy because we did a little bit of research online before booking our excursions. Althought our resort had computers as well, it's so slow.

We brought ours. We would never be able to go that long without going online and checking email, etc! We probably only went on a total of 5 minutes a day though.

We never bring the laptop when we travel. I am the one who needs to have the constant email access, so I will use the computers in the resort to check email, etc. In Aruba, we stayed at a timeshare, and they did have computers, so I would not worry about that!

which one did you stay at? we are staying at the marriot.....

We stayed at La Cabana (no one has ever heard of it LOL) but it was a timeshare, nonetheless. I have friends who stayed at The Marriot and I am pretty sure there are computers there. Do they have a website you can check? We stayed at the Marriott in St. Kitts on our HM, and their website said they have computers, so I knew that ahead of time.

I know LaCabana -- it used to be one of my clients!

i dont know we are computer people - we like to look up directions, we look up reviews on restaurants, we like to find things to do....plus the whole being able to see pictures is appealing...i dont think there is anything wrong about laying in bed checking out photos together....i rather do that then have to leave to go to the lobby KWIM?

if we had laptops to do work, or chat on LIW - then that would be a problem

most Timeshares are hotels...with blocked space- and a majority of these hotels have Internet rooms with free internet! I wouldn't bring it i can get so distracted and then i'd start working lol so FH always gets upset. but it's all up to you @ the end!

for me, the picture part is what really makes me want to bring it.....i know myself and the first thing i want to do is look at the pictures im a picture wh0re

NO WAY!!! I brought nothing like that...our honeymoon was about me and dh,...at thats it..I didn't want our attention focused anywhere else

I take my laptop on every vacation. FH and I had a horrible experience in Ohio where our flight was cancelled and the airline wouldn't help us get home and we ended up finding our own flight with our laptop so from then on we never go on vacation without our laptop

we did! i didnt want to have to bring extra memory cards so i downloaded pics onto my computer...not to mention that i was dying to see pics that people sent me and DH tends to take naps in the late afternoon and i cant so i would go online then
