did you splurge on your shoes for your big day?

I am contemplating splurging on a pair since I adore shoes.

No...not at all! I bought something comfortable, and simple that I can re-dye and use again. They were very nice.

No. Mine were twenty bucks lol. I wanted red polka dot shoes- GUESS had the Thalia style but they were sold out everywhere so I found a knock off on Ebay. By the end of the night they crippled me as do all really high heels (i have flat feet) but they looked AWESOME in our pics and Im wearing em for our day after too!

I didn't splurge on them because I knew that I would never wear them again and I forgot to wear them on my wedding day. I got married at my RH and stayed at the hotel next door. I walked over in flipflops and started taking pictures right away. I remembered that I forgot to change into my shoes until I was walking down the isle.

i plan on it...I figure the one time it is acceptable to do so is for the wedding hahahaha what better time. Not saying i wouldn't do it other times but this time its a great excuse

i also don't plan on getting typical white bridal shoes either so i can wear them again i guess

I did--sort of. I bought a pair of Manolos, thanks to many gift certicates I'd been stashing. I still had to add money and it was more than I would normally spend on shoes, but I figured if not for my wedding, then when? They were satin so I will dye them black and wear them as much as possible.

well they were originally $118 but I got them on sale for like $40.

nope! i got my shoes from myglassslipper.com for like $50. i LOVE shoes, but i did not feel the need to splurge on shoes i'll only ever wear once. if i had a summer wedding where i could wear open toe shoes, and actually get something i could wear again, then i would have, but i need closed toe, so i went cheap.

Not a big splurge.. i got them on sale but i'm rethinking them a bit since the gold backing on the rhinestones don't really match my dress which has silver crystals.

nope.. reusing from my engagement party.. that was a splurge though.. but i'd like to think i made up for it by wearing it a couple times and using it for the wedding

I did, and I Loved them! They were stuart weitzman. I figured if I am spending thousands of dollars on a dress I will never wear again, why not $275 on shoes. I actually wound up dying them after the wedding since they were so comfy and wore them a bunch of other times, so definitely worth it.

nope.. LOL I got them from payless, so worth it! I'll never wear them again, I wore them for about a week before with big heavy socks on, whenever i was around the house, and they were great.


You rock!!! I hope I can find a pair at payless. I have to save on the budget somewhere and I am not a huge shoe lover.

No. Bought a pretty pair from colorful creations: closed toe with an ankle stap and a medium heel. Paid $45 and didn't take them off until bedtime. Very comfy. No pics though.

nope--not at all. lol i'm in the minority i guess. i knew i would NEVER use white shoes ever again--so i didn't want to spend a lot.

got mine from shoebuy.com for less than $60.

by the end of the day i had taken them off anyway...cause my feet were starting to hurt


same here, I bought shoes for $40 bucks. I am not into the fashion like my two sisters LOL

I'm not! The only time anyone will see them will be maybe when i sit down for the garter thing? I just want ones that are comfortable and low...
