I had no clue. I thought it would never happen. I was beyond surprised.

I was blown away by the proposal. All my friends and family thought it was going to happen, but I told them they were all crazy. I was also tricked b/c he said he would never propose on a holiday, but on xmas morning after opening our gifts, he proposed.
He said he originally planned on doing it the following month when we were going on a little getaway to AC, but the jewler call and told him it was ready and I guess it was burning a hole in his pocket and he couldnt wait

I had a hunch (or rather I really really hoped) it might happen that day (our anniversary), but the way he did it was a total surprise!

YES!!! It was a complete and total surprise!! He along with our family and friends all got me really good. I had no idea (although we have always talked about it). We had booked a vacation on a cruise, he proposed there. Very romantic and long story, I will post it eventually on my wedding website...

I was there when he picked the ring out and I knew when he picked it up but I wasnt sure when he would propose. but had a feeling...

Well I we were dating almost 7 years at the time, so it really was just a matter of time. We went ring shopping in September and I picked out styles that Ilked. He had promised we would be engaged by December. He wound up proposing in November. I was completely caught off guard that day! The proposal itself was a surprise!!

TOTALLY COMPLETELY & UTTERLY SURPRISED!!!! He came in my room & woke me up at 3 in the morning!!! so great :) any other way I would've figured it out!

I had absolutely no idea...the ring the timing! We spoke about getting married but I figured in about a year we would get engaged so I could finish college!! Nope, he totally shocked me. I am the happiest girl ever though. I love him to death. THE RING WAS ABSOLUTELY perfect for me. I wouldn't have picked anything else. He knows me too well I can not believe it has happened. im still in the 'i cant believe im getting married' mode

50% i went with him picked out the ring and we ordered it. he picked it up on his own, and held it until he was ready to propose with the whole day planned out.

Well, all week he had given me gifts (it was our 4 year anniversary, so i had 4 Harry Potter Books, 3 boxes of godiva, 2 bears, 1 ring).

He had kept on telling me he was going to wait until the following summer when I graduated, so I thought that there was no way we were getting engaged, but the women at work kept on telling me I was

By the time it was about to happen I had figured it out though, and was probably as nervous as he was

We had been talking about getting married since the first year we were together. I had a feeling this year - but he shocked me the night he did it!!

He surprised me on the actual day it happened (which I never thought he'd be able to manage) but I knew it was coming. We knew we wanted to get married in 2006, so the closer it got to the end of 2005 I knew it was only a matter of time (we got engaged in November 2005).
