make you a mock up before you booked with them? After? How long after?
Florists are my next (and LAST!) vendor to book and I'm pretty flexible, but I'm truly hoping I'll be able to see their vision before I book. Can anyone let me know if Pedestals, Flowers by Brian, Designs by Rose, or Flower Michele did mock ups for you? TIA ladies!

Flower Michele does them 3 months before the wedding and you go in and change things while you're there until it looks like how you want it to. The only place I went that actually did it before was Flowers and Designs by Gina Rose. You send her pics of what you're looking for and she has it made when you first go to meet with her.

Pedestals doesn't. But when I was there trying to figure out what flowers I wanted to use Rob went in the back and brought a bunch out so I could see how they looked together.

Good question - I need to know this too. I'd like to know the size of the centerpieces and bo-ks before booking. I bet if you are close to booking the florist would do it for you to give you an idea. It doesn't even have to be the same flowers - I just need an idea of size and fullness . . .

i didnt ask for a sample before i booked. im sure they can do one if you wanted but u might have to pay for that.. i think i get a sample close to the wedding:)

After we booked with her and it was about three or four months after that we got to see a sample. I didn't mind seeing a sample after because she showed me her work and it was gorgeous.

Thanks ladies. I feel a lot better knowing what to expect when I walk in. I've had so many issues with other vendors I'd really just *love* for this one to go smoothly! Here's hoping!

Some florists will make up a sample before you book. I know Designs by Rose may do this for you. I booked with them and I got a sample CP like a few months after I booked. They only do sample CP's though, not sample bo-ks.

My florist made me a sample before I booked her, she said she would also make me another sample close to the wedding if I change my mind on colors.

We are using Rob from Pedestals....we didnt get a mock up before but he went into the back and brought out a bunch of stuff to give me color ideas and what not....you do see the sample CP before (6wks, i think) the big day! xo
