Did you/will you go to graduate school graduation

Its a huge deal to me, that I'm graduating, but I'm graduating from Stony Brook and think the actual ceremony will be a huge boring deal. Not sure if I will go.

Did you/will you go to yours?

I went to one of mine. It was long and boring, but my parents would've killed me if I decided to stay home.

I went to mine b/c I felt I worked long & hard to get there. It was also a blast...I stood up on my chair & then after we went out to dinner w/ close family & FIL's. It was a nice day.

I went to both ceremonies when I got my masters in Syracuse, and both when I did my counseling masters at St. John's.
The second time it was just to appease my parents though - I really didn't want to mainly because I still had 3 credits to finish over the summer.

I didn't even go to my college graduation - I just don't care too much about the ceremony (it was the degree that mattered). Plus I graduated in 3.5 years and didn't feel like trudging back up to Maine for the May ceremony.

I didn't go to the ceremony for either my Bachelor's degree or my Master's degree. My high school graduation was three days long, and that was more than enough for me!

I went for my mom - she told me she was going and after telling her a few times, 'great- pick me up a program while you are there...' I caved and went because it was important to her.

I went because I know it was very important to my Dad. He was so proud that I got my masters at 23. We didn't have a party or anything just brunch for the two of us at a nice restaurant.
