Is on a hard core diet & I mean gym 4 or 5 times a week, no eating crap, etc...?
Who is just watching what they eat, not getting nuts about it?
Who is saying 'It is what it is'?

Re: DIET TALK, OK SO WHO.....
Great thread Bari!!
Before I got my dress I had this crazy 9 month weightloss plan in mind. Then when I found a dress on the rack that I loved and fit me like a glove I stopped worrying and now just watch what I eat and continue my 5/6 gym visits a week... the pressure was off!

I was going to the gym hard core then it got too cold this week so I'm slacking.
I still watch what I eat and just trying to maintain my weight now and work on those abs. We're going to Aruba in a few weeks and my pail, white butt better look good.

RIght now I'm trying out the nutri system foods, just for 1 month and seeing how I like it along with working out. If I like I'll go back on it 2 months before the actual date to shed those pounds.

I can commit to going to a gym 3-4 times a week......the diet part though....I say I'm going to eat well and I'll be good for a majority of the day but I usually end up ruining my diet at night. I've had food on my mind for the last few weeks!

Re: DIET TALK, OK SO WHO.....
Honestly...I have been very bad these past few months. A while ago I was on WW and lost 7lbs in a matter of weeks..then I started going to the gym..and was doing really well. Then I dont know what happened....I gained the pounds back..stopped going to the gym..I am just soo upset at myself ...I think its stress about the wedding, starting a new job...thats causes me to over eat...So to answer your questions..it is what it is right now...

I am just maintaining
I've been a gym-goer (about 4 times a week) for years now (my FH is a Marine, so I have to keep up ). I just stick to the same routine and watch what I eat, but I'm not gonna sweat it.

I watch what I eat. Lift 3-4 times a week, here at home, ( obcessed with my arms ) can't have sausage arms with a halter dress, and NO fast food, as much as I'm craving KFC for the past 6 months.

I am on Weight Watchers. I try and watch and be really good during the week. Then Friday and Saturday, I usually slack a little bit. I was doing good with the exercising but got a cold last week. I am gonna start again next week.
I like WW because I can still have the occassional bad things and still lose.

How do you like NutriSystem? My mom is thinking of going on it, but she doesn't know how much it'll cost...

Yeah I have to say myself, I have been eating hardly anything bad, no bread, pasta, etc.. and trying to hit the gym at least 3X a week. This week I went once and I have to say it is cold as a beotch outside and all I want to do is get home in my PJ's

So far I like it, the foods are portion controlled and it's all seasoned so it has a taste to it. It's half the price of Jenny Craig and they deliver it to your door step. They have different programs between choosing your own or just having them send you a variety of breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinners and desserts. It's really not that bad.

I follow a modified south beach diet but that's out of necessity because my body has issues with bad carbs . I do weight training 2-3 times a week and do cardio at least 3 times a week. If i don't work out I gain weight. Even just looking at a candy bar adds inches to my hips .

Cool! I'll suggest it to her...I think she's just a little concerned that my dad or my brother will end up eating her food!

I work out more than eat well...I take Taekwondo 3-4 times a week...and will be adding weights & running when it starts warming up...may do a personal trainer a month and a half before...eat normal...just try to eliminate fatty foods...but still have my snacks :)

That could happen because my other half was eying my food and I finally gave him a taste of one of the snacks and one of my dinners and he really like if but I told him to back off, he would have to have 10 of those meals to be somewhat full.

Re: DIET TALK, OK SO WHO.....
Good topic.
I continue to work out as usual (3-5) times a week and have been a little more stricter about my diet. Trying to only drink one night a week (not Fri & Sat), drink more water and watch the sweets. I don't eat a lot but what I do eat can be bad. I would rather eat one brownie for dinner rather than a good meal.
